About Us

 

I started making scented soy wax candles and wax melts just for family, friends, and myself. I fell in love with making them. I reenact in the 1800's time period so candles are always a need. In 2017 I expanded my product line, and started making beeswax candles.

A bit of background here. I would go to events with my husband (Dustin) who is a blacksmith, and I would help him sell his products. After a while, I thought to myself, "I know people need candles for their camps. I love making them, and I know I can make a product for them. ”(Husband would have to fend for himself!)

So in 2016, I started Bakers Primitive Candles and went out on my own. I enjoy it so much. I am dedicated in bringing the best candles to you when you need them for the season, or just if you enjoy a better made beeswax candle for modern usage. I guarantee that you will fall in love with our products from the first moment you receive them.

In 2022 We have decided to combine our two shops into one and call it Baker's Primitives. So now we can sell a little bit of everything kind of like a mercantile.
